Dear Sister School members,

Spring is finally here.

We hope that this message finds you in good spirits and that you’re seeing an increase in new students in the lead-up to the new school year. Today, we have a few announcements from the Materials Department.

Android 12, the latest OS version, is now being distributed to some Android devices (depending on model and carrier). Unfortunately, we have confirmed that in some instances you may not be able to install new PLS Click applications, or applications that have already been installed may cease to function, on devices running Android 12.

We are currently working hard on a fix, and hope to have a new build for release around May.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and ask that you advise students and guardians using Android devices not to update Android OS until an updated version of Click is released. A letter for you to post at your school or distribute to students and guardians is attached bellow.

If you have a student using Android who has already applied the update and is experiencing problems with Click not working, please ask them to use the browser version on a computer (Chrome/Firefox/Microsoft Edge) or a tablet device other than Android 12.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding. We are working to provide the update as soon as possible.

We are delighted to introduce the PLS ABC plastic file, featuring the letters of the alphabet, each with two illustrations of words that begin with the sounds of the letter.

Sets of ten are now available for ¥850 (tax included).

PLS Hamadayama has been distributing these files to students for several years to celebrate graduation from kindergarten or as a small gift when they complete a rank or a homework set. We have found them to be very popular.

With the addition of the PLS ABC plastic files to our catalogue, we have updated the order form (B. Homework Materials). Additionally, we are pleased to inform you that the long-awaited English version is now ready. 

Both the Japanese and English versions of the newly updated order forms (Excel and PDF) are available for download from the Sister School page → Teaching Resources → Order Sheet. 

Please note that the last page of the English version, "F. Click Flash Contract Confirmation," currently remains in Japanese. We will update this section and make it available as soon as it is ready on the Sister School page.

We are delighted to announce that we have renewed and improved pre-rank teaching materials. The overall content and prices remain the same.

• The laminated film on materials now comes with antibacterial treatment. 

• The size of some cards has been increased.

• The material of the color cells has been changed, with two new colors added.
