Thank you for your continued use of PLS Click. We would like to inform you of an upcoming update.
Release date: Thursday 4th November 2021, 12:00AM Affected:

What’s new:
1. Bug fixes and general maintenance.
2. New feature: added the ability to display a single-screen overview of play history. 3. New feature: added the ability for students to enter and edit their own class day and time (this function must be enabled by the school).*
* Prior to notifying students of this feature, each school should decide if they wish to adopt this new feature. Please consider the following scenarios.
A. If you intend to continue setting the days and times of classes for each student: To avoid confusion, we recommend removing Section 3 (which covers this feature) from the attached letter template for students and guardians. After the update rolls out, students will be able to see their own class time from within their Click apps, so please ensure this information is correctly entered in the admin system to avoid support enquiries. For instructions on how to set up class information, please refer to the PLS Click Admin System User Manual.
We will be adding instructions on how to edit class days and times to an updated “Guardians' Guide” in the near future. Please use this if you decide to enable the student registration functionality in the future.
B. If you would like students to enter their own class days and times:
In the Admin System, please enable the "Students can set class times" option (see attached “User Manual"). Also, in the attached letter template to students and guardians, this functionality is listed as “optional,” so please feel free to modify or delete this portion of the letter.
Correct class day and time information is important to ensure an accurate seven-day count of assigned Click homework.
